For WD, there is some unique calibration data on each board. Example

It is possible similar calibration data will work, but there is no way to guarantee compatibility. Please mail the old board to us, we will transfer this calibration data for you (firmware transfer) to ensure compatibility. (Complete procedure)

You will only need to find a physical match for the board, the firmware transfer will match the rest.
