Brokerage Charges from UPS using UPS Standard

When shipping from the USA using UPS, make sure to ship to our Blaine, WA location, to avoid any Customs or brokerage fees. UPS severely overcharged for brokerage fees, and they do not tell you beforehand.

For example, for a shipment from USA to Canada, if the value of the dead board is declared at $50, then UPS will charge: $19.45 for document preparation, $4.25 for COD, $6 of duty and tax on the item, some more tax on the UPS fees = approximately $35. For comparison, mailing a $50 package to our USA location will incur $0 of border fees, as there is no border to cross.
