Note Regarding Maxtor DiamondMax 9 Series Boards Containing the 040110200 Chip

This particular circuit board has many different firmwares, and it is impossible to tell which one you have without specialized equipment. By default, we ship the board with the most common firmware, but this may not be compatible with your particular board.

To solve this problem, you can ship your board to us for a firmware transfer. Alternatively, you can do the firmware transfer yourself if you have the proper equipment. If you want us to do a firmware transfer for you, there is a $10 fee.
